Interviews with leading Java authors

Whether you're a casual programmer looking to learn more about the Java platform, or a seasoned veteran developer seeking advice about a particular technology or concept, there's no substitute for a good book. The trouble is, there are so many books out there on so many topics that it's hard to sort the wheat from the chaff.

We've put together a series of interviews with leading Java authors. This gives authors a chance to put forward their views on Java, and for our readers to learn more about specialized subject areas like networking, XML, databases, object design, and other topics. Over the next few months, we'll feature interviews with different authors of a wide range of topics. Keep your eyes peeled for new interviews!
